Education

From early years through all life stages, school, college and higher education can bring challenges to those with Klinefelter Syndrome and other related chromosomal disorders. Impacts of differences with speech and language, auditory processing and other learning differences can affect learning in the classroom, social communication and friendships through all educational stages. We can assist with this aspect of life, offering support, strategies and advisory guidance for teaching and learning.

Dr Faithfull has a Post Graduate Certificate in Education Practice and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). She has a particular interest in educational aspects of teaching and learning and has devised novel, alternative ways of teaching the curriculum from early and junior school years, through into higher education, supporting students at university with complex profiles, KS and variants.

We are able to support and offer advisory guidance to educators to develop and provide tailored programmes of support, individualised educational support and insight into alternative ways of teaching the curriculum to facilitate access and encourage engagement with the classroom and curriculum.
